TurboTax has always been a favorite of mine because it works really well. Best of all, they took my advice on the last review and removed the controversal product activation technology (spyware)!

TurboTax has been the leader in tax preparation software for the public for quite some time. The process of filling out the forms comes down to simple questions - it certainly beats looking up each line in the tax book!
Handy features included a side-bar with related items or questions, the ability to jump back and forth between sections and the error-check function at the end of the process. TurboTax also keeps a running tally of the estimated tax refund or amount due, so you can see how your inputs affect your potential return.
Once completed, you have the option of filing electronically or printing it out and filing via snail mail.
