Who needs leveraged ETFs? Not Edward Jones.
Edward Jones, a full service brokerage firm, decided to remove leveraged exchange-traded funds from their repertoire of investments. Edward Jones has called the investment "potentially dangerous" for average investors.
I don't know exactly what is meant by "average investors," but I would add that leveraged ETFs can be dangerous to the below average and above average investor, as well.
Investors are cautioned to fully understand these investments. Another case of caveat emptor -- buyer beware.
